First visit to Por Por's house

'Today I finally went to Por Por's house, as it was the 40th day. According to the Chinese tradition, mummy was supposed to bring me to Por Por's house on this day. I wore the little mouse pendant which Por Por bought for me on my first month. Can you see my little mouse?'
' Big Mai Por brought Javier Gor Gor along to Por Por's house too. He was very quiet during the car ride. Daddy has not bought the car shade yet, so mummy had to put a pillow to block the glaring sunlight. Well... I could still sleep soundly though :) '

Joian's first real smile

'Today daddy and mummy had to run some errands, so they left me at Ma Ma's house.
When they returned, Ma Ma and mummy played with me, I gave them my first real smile :)
Mummy was so happy, cos she successfully made me smile :)'

Out with Joian:)

We went Hougang Point for our favourite breakfast - Ah Mei Prata. It was the first time we ate outside with Joian. Joian was quite well behaved, we were able to finish our prata. We then went to Compass Point to do some shopping.

Daddy's first bath with Joian :)

Hubby bathed for Joian today. He did a fairly good job!
Heh... and what was I doing? Hmm... I was busy taking photo and supervising him, hee...

 

Now with the confinement lady gone, Joian sleeps on a small mattress in our bedroom.
One night, we put a snow cap on him, cos we were afraid that his face would feel cold.
He looked so cute hee...
Well, in the end, we took the cap off...

Tummy activity

Joian's neck is rather firm now. When we put him on his tummy, he would keep looking up, trying to look arorund.

Lunar one month old

Today is Joian's actual lunar one month old. We trimmed his hair a little.

Look at his stern look, ha... my sis said that is the reason why he looks more like me, ha...

Joian's First Month Celebration

We celebrated Joian first month today.
He wasn't very cooperative in the earlier part of the day. I think it was due to overwhelming rush of people coming to see him. I guess he was not used to so many people and so much noise around him.
We were so busy that we forgot to take pictures with friends and relatives. I managed to take only a few. The slide show basically shows all the pics that I have taken.

At 9pm @ nite....

Our darling's eyes were really big and was wide awake at 9 pm plus. He stayed through the night till about 1 am plus in the morning... This happened for a few days liowz...

I am so adorable... hee...

Joian is getting chubbier

Few days back, hubby came back from work, he commented that Joian's face seemed to become rounder. Taking a closer look, yup, he really blew up abit :) Took his weight 2 days ago (did some subtraction) he weighed 3.9 kg. Today, I think would be more than that lo...

My First Mothers' Day

Today was the first time I celebrated Mothers' Day as a mother :)
Not much of special feelings, probably cos Joian is still so young, he cant say 'Happy Mothers' Day' to me yet, hee...
However, I did get that from hubby (though I was the one who made him say, ha...). I also got a few greetings from friends, those really made me feel I am truly in the motherhood :)
