Auntie Linda has a dog, and of cos my dear timid mummy was really scared of it. Uncle John had to tie the dog, the poor dog only had a very small space to move about.
As usual, I allowed no one to carry me. I am always very shy.... But I played with them when daddy and mummy were around :)
Time for the adults to exchange their presents :) hee... they all looked so happy and excited ;p
We started our walk at around 12 noon, it was very hot. We bought a hat from the zoo shop, which coast $19... Think due to the glaring sun, Joian was willing to wear the hat ;p
We went to watch the 'Rainforest Fights Back'. When we reached the Shaw Foundation Amphitheatre, it was already very packed, but we managed to get seats. The show was quite interesting. Joian was quite cooperative throughout the show, he seemed to enjoy himself ;p After the show, we took photos with the performers. The lady passed me a snake. I couldn't believe myself that I dared to hold it... It was fine until little Joian wanted to touch the snake too, I was really freaked out, so I quickly returned the snake, phew...
After the show, we went for the 'Splash Safari' show. It was already very packed when we reached there. We couldn't get any seats, and from we stood, we couldn't really watch the show clearly. At that time Joian was getting sleepy too. Hence after the show, he took his nap on his daddy's shoulder :) The 3rd show we watched was the 'Elephants At Work & Play'. Was a very interesting show. The elephants are really strong and well-trained. Joian was awaked by then, but he was more interested in his pacifer than the elephants ;p
By the way, there is no need to buy tickets for tram rides, not that they are free, but we had no time to sit on it. The queue was always very long, moreover, walking was a better choice as we could see more things.
The zoo closed at 6 pm, we walked till about half past 6. Then we fed Joian his porridge, still warm (hee, bought a not so cheap container for his porridge). And I had finally tasted Ben & Jerry ice-cream, ha... suan ku hor?!
We didn't take many pictures, as, sigh... camera's battery was flat.

Joian was very sticky to hubby, he just refused to let me carry him.

We then went to Vivo City for our dinner and to do window shopping. It was rather late, so we just had a simple meal at Long John Silver. By the time we finished, most shops were closed and Joian was very sleepy. However when we went to see the big Christmas tree, he woke up, but was a little cranky.

Joian was playing with one auntie.

Tiring but happy. (Standard ending of a compositon ;p)
Nice view from the top.
Another water-playing area for children.
