Watching Barney

This morning, before I made Joian's multigrain, I turned on the Barney show for him to watch. This time, he was able to stay longer at the show. So while he was watching the show, I quickly went to make his breakfast. See how focussed he was, for the first 5 minutes, hee...

Hubby had to work today, so only Joian and I went over to my mum's place. Saw all my cousins there. The children were the most happy lot, as they could play with each other. After all cousins left, we went to my maternal relatives' places. At my big aunt's place, Joian entertained himself with the toys, hee, not bad, cos I finally could rest! At our only uncle's place. After visiting my sis's godparents, we headed back to my place, to have a mini celebration for my mum. Lunar New Year Day is her birthday. We ordered the 933 Golden Pillow, however except for their famous curries, the other dishes really couldn't make it...

Lunar New Year Day 1

Joian's first CNY!
So glad that hubby didn't have to work today, so we could go visiting on the first day of CNY. We spent the whole day at MIL's place. We saw the baby who was about a month plus youngr than Joian. Prior seeing the little girl, hubby and I were thinking if the girl would be bigger (in size) than Joian. Hee... true enough, she is. She is 8.8 kg lo, and our darling, hmm... I think about 7.2 kg... However I forgot to take a picture of the cute little girl. She also has big round eyes :)

Reunion lunch & dinner

Went back to my mum's place for reunion lunch. Was so glad that Da Jie came back to join us for the reunion lunch.In the evening we went to MIL's place for reunion dinner. Joian's first reunion meals with both families :)

Weekend!! Yeah!!

Finally was able to sleep late!! Saturday and Sunday mornings are the best now!

Woke at about 7 plus in the morning, felt so refreshed, 2 hours later than the weekdays, wow....

Joian woke up few minutes later than me. After feeding him, we went to Compass Point to get the meat for his porridge. Met hubby at CP for our breakfast.

In the evening, we went to Chinatown. Was really crowded.

Playing with Ashley Jie Jie at Por Por's house.

Went United Square to shop for TV. Finally decided to buy 40", instead of 46". Shopped there for awhile before heading to Marina Square.

Few days ago, while feeding Joian, I found out that he could clap :P. Then today, when I was leaving my MIL's place for work, my MIL asked him to bye bye, he waved at me :) Also on New Year's Eve, he was able to recognise what is 'moo moo' (moo moo is my small pillow). Whenever I ask him 'Where is moo moo?', he would look at the pillow and move towards it :)

Shopping at Tampines Mall

Today hubby was working, so I brought Joian to my mum's place, as I knew I would not be able to do my work at home. Hubby had agreed to look after Joian the next day since he would be working the night shift, hence allowing me to do my work :)

We stayed at my mum's place for about 2 hours, then my sis and I brought mum to Tampines Mall to have our dinner. We went Ding Tai Fung, wow expensive... Gave Joian his dinner there, as usual, he couldn't finish. He still eat very little, sigh... After his meal, luckily he had something to play - the receipts. Ashley also kept him busy playing :) After dinner, we then shopped at the mall.

Finally cooking!

After months of not cooking, I finally decided to cook today. Actually wasn't much cooking, basically used the oven to bake my ever popular golden mushrooms wrapped with bacon. Also tried baking white button mushroom wrapped with ham and cheese, not very successful. The actual ingredients for that dish was actually bacons, but I had not enough bacons...

Since I cooked on the first day of a new year, hopefully I would do more cooking this year, hee...

It's 1 January 2009!!
Can't believe it. Time flies real fast...
Darling has fever, I hope he will be fine by morning. So sad, can't do much except to sponge him :(
He looked so happy and playful that I didn't realise he was actually running a fever...
I wish both my darlings and loved ones good health and a good year ahead.
