Ferdusbee's wedding

Attended my colleague's, Ferdusbee's wedding today. I am really happy for Bee!!

Brought Joian along. Many colleagues and friends were there. Saw a 'long-lost' friend, Niza and his sons. Really glad to see her there, if not I don't know when we would get the time to meet. Joian recived many many compliments ;p They all commented that helooks cute, handsome, and all of them said that his eyes are really big. One even said that he didn't blink his eyes at all :) This is the first time that he allowed so many people to carry him, woooo....

After the dinner, we went to Jac's mother's place, as I need to change Joian's diaper. Surprisingly, Joian allowed Jac's parents to carry him. He was happily playing with them :)

Last stop for the day was to meet Jac and Julien at Anchorvale Mac for supper. Again darling Joian was really enjoying himself in their company, although the 'monster' Julien uncle tried to be 'funny' with him :)

24 May - Playing with Jamie

Hubby went to play soccer with his colleagues, so I brought Joian to my friend's house for a short meet up. Joian was excited to have friends :) He mingled quite well, and daringly walked around the house :)
Joian looked as if he sat very still for his dinner... but no no, he did not finish his dinner ;p

24 May - 2nd visit to saloon

Brought Joian for his second haircut. Hubby his hair cut first, we were hoping that Joian would also follow suit when it was his turn.

When it was his turn, he was doing fine initially. But he soon lost his patience, and started to become very cranky. The hairdresser manange to cut his hair to the desired length.

23 May - Baby Julien's baby shower

Time flies, just about a year ago, we celebrated Joian's 1 month old, and today were celebrating Julien's 1 month old...

Joian also had a good time in the swimming pool. He was not afraid at all, as the water was not cold at all, just the right temperature for him. He dared to walk in the water, and leaned against the wall without hubby's support :P But a small accident happened... just within split seconds when hubby ws talking to my aunt, Joian lost his balance and he was totally submerged in the water!!!! Hubby was quick enough to carry him out, really must thank god that nothing happened... Joian cried real loud, he must be really scared... sorry Joian...

It was our first time bringing Joian to a playground. I was surprised that he could simply just climb up and down the slide, and he enjoyed so much ;0

We went Jurong Point after leaving my sis's place. Had our tea at Starbucks. Joian was real friendly with the guys next to our table. Same comment from them-such big pairs of eyes ;p

17 May - Upper Pierce Reservoir

In the evening, we decided to go to Upper Pierce reservoir for a walk. By the time we reached there, it was about 6pm. Joian was a little cranky, not very willing to walk with us. Me, the siao siao mummy held him high up, ran like crazy mummy... So we still had lots of fun!!

10 May - Adrian's and Shufen's Wedding

Attended our friends' cum neighbour's wedding today. The wedding lunch was held at Marina Mandarin. Adrian and Shufen are two creative people, so the pictures on the slideshow were very interesting and unique. Too bad I was not able to take pictures of it.

Joian was a darling that day. He finished his lunch without much fuss. After his lunch, he still asked for his bread. BTW, his first word is 'bread'... ;p

After the lunch we did window shopping around the area. On that day, Joian enjoyed walking, with us holding his hands.

Joian can walk!!

Today our darling Joian finally gathered all his courage and walked on his own without any support... finally!! My MIL didn't tell me that he could walk, I only discovered that when I played 'hide & seek' with him. He came 'running' towards me without holding on to the sofa.  Hubby and I were so happy.  Joian walked on his 13th month!!

We were deciding whether we should stay at home or go out today cos of the flue issue. We finally decided to spend our Saturday at Jurong Point. Saw two people wearing masks, very socially responsible :) 2 reasons to go JP. First cos of my crystal bracelet that needed its long overdue re-string, and secondly cos of JP's extension.

We had our lunch at Mac. Joian had his milk there and followed by his bread (a SOP whenever we're eating) He enjoyed his bread more than his milk ;P

Had our dinner at Lai Lai Beef. Joian was so restless when having his dinner, kept wanting to stand up.
