Thomas trains and their numbers

Surpised that Joian placed his Thomas trains according to their numbers on the number cards. He could not find his No 2 Edward.

Bird Car

Yesterday afeternoon, Joian was playing with his Lego blocks. When he was done with fixing the blocks, he showed it to me and said that it was a bird car. I could understand why he gave such a name, cos the blue and green blocks looked like the wings :)

Bonding with Daddy - 20 March

Hubby took Joian to Joian's favourite fish farm at Pasir Ris. Joian really enjoyed going there.  He loves to feed the fish.

Smiley Brian

Brian smiles easily, especially when someone talks to him in baby language :)

Joian and Brian

Joian can be a very sweet Gor Gor.
He will say, 'My Di Di.'
He will touch Brian's head and say, 'Love you.'

Thumbs-up for mummy

I was expressing milk, with Joian playing beside me.
Then he said, 'Wow, mummy today you pump so much milk! Good!', and he gave me a thumbs-up.
So sweet of him :)

3 March 2011 - Arrival of our 2nd darling

We went to the hospital on 2 Mar MN. I was induced at about 1 am, there was contractions , but I felt no pain at all. Both Hubby and I managed to sleep till the next morning.
Dr Lim came at about 9.30 am, checked my dilation, which was only 3 cm. She also burst my waterbag. Unlike my first labour, which I was already in great pain, this time I felt pain when my waterbag was burst. I was also put on drip, to allow for more dilation. From the graph, I had contraction, but stil no pain, hence the nurse increased the dosage a few times till I felt the pain around at 11 plus. I then started to use the gas to manage my pain. It was bearable, as my whole body felt numb. I think the nurse checked my dilation few times which was only 5 cm (that time was about 1pm plus near 2pm).
I think when it was at about 2, I couldn't take it anymore , asked Hubby to inform the nurse to check dilation again, it was 6 cm, and I supposed the nurse saw I was in great pain , so she informed my gynae immediately. I didn't know how much I dilated when the gynae came.
I started the pushing, it was very very very (to the power of infinity)painful!!!
Really felt like giving up, cos I felt that I couldn't push, but Hubby, nurses and doc kept on encouraging.
I remembered the nurse tell me not to hold hubby's hand but to hold my thigh for easy delivery. She also told me not to open my mouth and to hold my breath when I pushed.
When Brian finally popped out, I felt sooooooooooo relieved!!!
It was really a painful but wonderful experience to deliver without epidural!!!
