Jacobs Ballas Children's Garden - 3 July 2011
Spent an evening at the children's garden. A real hot day. Joian was rather cranky. He didn't want to play anything there, not the water, not the slide. All he wanted was to see the ducks. The moment he saw them, he was very happy, end of grumpiness.

Brian's first hair cut - 9 July 2011
Went to the barber to shave Brian's hair, at the same time, Joian also had his hair cut. Joian didnt cry, but whined a little. Think he knew that he had to be brave in front of didi. Brian didnt cry too while the auntie cut his hair. We kept talking to him to distract him. Looking back at the time when Joian had his hair cut, he cried. Having his hair shaved, Brian looks very much like Joian when Joian was a botak boy :)

Timid Joian
During the last trip to the fish farm, Joian finally wanted to do fishing. However when he realised that there were many ants near the pond area, he was totally freaked out...

Hubby caught quite a number of fish, he didn't want to throw them away, so we bought a small fish tank. Joian loves feeding the fish. As expected, those fish didn't survive long. After few days, all except one orange fish died. We then bought some small fishes from the fish shop. That orange fish is still swimming happily in the fish tank.
7 July - Brian's 2nd jab
Went for Brian's second jab yesterday. He now weighs 6.7 kg and 62 cm long. PD said he was slightly above the average. When PD gave him the jab, he didn't cry at all, just wriggled his backside a little.
PD told us that we can start giving him cereal from 4 months onwards. She said this is the newest theory that give around 4 months, instead of 6 months would reduce the risk of food allergies.
Brian had fever yesterday evening, and so far till now, no fever.
What can Brian do so far:
- able to response to sounds
- able to push the milk bottle away when he doesn't want any more milk
- able to push the milk bottle towards his mouth when he wants to drink
- able to grab milk bottle when drinking milk, but still we cant let go of the bottle
